So he did, and got a Bdes (Hons) in Visual Communications for his trouble. After two years on the ground floor (actually the basement) of the comics industry, he finally went freelance in 1998, to the relief of his friends and family. His work has since become a regular feature of childrens' book illustration in Ireland. Len is now casting his eye further afield ....

While comfortable with most media, 2D and 3D, Len's familiarity with modern electronic media make him particularly print friendly.

He would probably do all this art stuff for nothing, except that he is quite partial to earning a living. In his spare time, Len acts as an Oddjob impersonator for children's parties, practises the art of mesmerism and reads far too much for someone of his age.
