Mark Brooks whose heroes include Alan Lee and Boris Vallejo was drawn to fantasy artwork from an early age, marvelling at the mythical beasts and legends he found there. A passion that continues today in somewhat larger form, it's no surprise that this mostly self-taught (although he has the bits of paper that society requires him to have) artist gets most enjoyment from illustrating fantasy subjects. Still looking for that big break, Mark juggles a part-time day job, vast quantities of drawing and painting, strategy games for the PC and football in the pursuit of a happy and profitable life.
